Hydrology
The extreme regime of the rivers and public waterways is the subject of special attention for public administrations in most countries, whose efforts are directed to obtaining water resources during long periods of drought and to minimize damages caused by exceptional downpours (including climate change, El Niño and the «cold drop» phenomena).
URCI works along different public administrations within the water sector to help them achieve their objectives regarding hydrological regulation.

Hydraulic systems are usually characterized by the distance between water sources and areas of consumption, urban agglomerations and irrigation. This distance requires the building of significant hydraulic infrastructures that bring the resources closer to the major centers of consumption. URCI provides its services to design and supervise the hydraulic works to administrations and public companies with competences in the matter.
