Automatic Signaling Tool in Computer Aided Design

Objective:

To have a computer tool in a CAD environment that allows the Design of the Horizontal and Vertical Signaling, Beaconing and Defenses of a road, minimizing the processes and increasing the competitiveness, all this in compliance with the applicable legal framework.

Description:

SEÑATOOLS application allows URCI to increase the competitiveness and quality of its design work, since it automates the design of road infrastructure signaling in compliance with the parameters established in the applicable regulations.

The program is based on the design of the axis in plan and elevation by a linear design program, to which is added the typical section to be arranged in each of the sections, obtaining as a result the appropriate location of the signaling to be arranged in the projected infrastructure or in analysis.

In order to achieve the elaboration of the necessary plans to be incorporated in the Projects, Studies or Reports, the software is developed on an auxiliary CAD application where it projects the location of the signaling elements.

On the basis of this information, the user may now know the floor plan position of the signaling elements, which will need to be complemented with the necessary details for both their manufacture and their implementation. For this purpose, the program reports the corresponding details with their dimensions and mode of execution.

Additionally, the program provides the necessary lists with the classification, accounting and results of the signaling elements, being this the base for the elaboration of the Budget Measurements to be developed for the File.
